Eli Clare, poet and essayist, is one of the most influential artists and theorists working in Disability Culture. His many books include Brilliant Imperfection: Grappling with Cure, (2017) and Exile and Pride: Disability, Queerness and Liberation, (1999). Clare is based in Burlington, VT.
