Rachel Youens

I have known Rachel since our undergraduate days at SAIC. Her portrait reflects my admiration for Rachel’s deeply intelligent, perceptual work, based on the natural world and on quiet domestic interiors. Youens’s work has garnered multiple awards and solo shows. She is an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design and LaGuardia Community College (CUNY) in New York City.
